5 Who inflame yourselves among the ^{▼▼ Or terebinths
,} ^boaks,
^cUnder every luxuriant tree,
Who ^dslaughter the children in the ^{▼▼ Or wadis}ravines,
Under the clefts of the crags?
6 “Among the ^{▼▼ I.e. symbols of fertility gods
,} ^gsmooth stones of the ^{▼▼ Or wadi}ravine
Is your portion, ^{▼▼ Lit they, they}they are your lot;
Even to them you have ^jpoured out a drink offering,
You have made a grain offering.
Shall I ^{▼▼ Or repent
,} ^lrelent concerning these things?
7 “Upon a ^mhigh and lofty mountain
You have ⁿmade your bed.
You also went up there to offer sacrifice.
